MIA is the Master’s in Integrated Dentistry for Adults. It provides postgraduate education via the University of Barcelona in a full-time course lasting three years in which students learn about advanced periodontics, implants and oral rehabilitation with an interdisciplinary approach. This course has been given thirteen times by now and for the first time former students, lecturers, collaborators and directors who have been a part of the MIA’s big family over the years gathered together.

On a day dedicated to the latest scientific knowledge, the matters addressed included research, new kinds of treatment being introduced into clinical practice, and ethics in dentistry. The talk given by Dr. Manresa focused on “Interdisciplinary diagnosis and treatment: the key to combining functionality and aesthetics”.
