Following an impeccable track record in clinical practice and education in the field of periodontics, Dr. José Javier Echeverría’s former students pay tribute to him in Barcelona.
With a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona and in Stomatology from the Complutense University of Madrid, Dr. Echeverría also has a Master’s in Periodontics from the University of Michigan (USA), a doctorate in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona, is a Professor in Periodontics from the University of Barcelona and has been the Head Lecturer in Integrated Dentistry for Adults at the University of Barcelona’s Faculty of Dentistry and Director of the Master’s in Integrated Dentistry at the same faculty.
Furthermore, he is the author of numerous scientific books and articles and has directed 14 doctoral theses, including Dr. Carolina Manresa’s thesis in 2014. Before this, he was her lecturer for Periodontics I and II during the 2001-2002 academic year and her Surgical Periodontics and Implants lecturer during her master’s (2006-2008).
